Chocolate & Coconut Cake


for the cake:

150 gram butter
2 eggs
3 dl sugar
1 ½ dl milk
4 dl flour
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 tablespoon vanilla sugar

for the chocolate cream:

100 gram butter
2 dl whip cream
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa

for the decoration:

1-2 dl coconut flakes

Baking Steps:

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan.
  2. Mix the eggs and sugar.
  3. Add the melted butter in the bowl + the 1 ½ dl of milk. Stir without using the mixer.
  4. In another bowl mix the flour, cocoa, vanilla sugar and baking powder.
  5. Add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix. Then pour on a tray covered with parchment paper. Then put the tray in the oven at 225° for 10 minutes.
  6. Spread sugar on a piece of parchment paper. Get the cake out of the oven and flip it upside down on the paper with the sugar.
  7. Making the cream: melt the butter in a saucepan. Add whipped cream, sugar, flour and cocoa. Cook the cream for 5 minutes stirring the whole time. Now that the cream has thickened, you will spread it over the cake. Sprinkle with coconut.
